At Independent Search Solutions Ltd we currently have a position for a Clinical Support Specialist within my clients Surgical Orthopaedics Division.
I am particularly interested in speaking with Physiotherapist who have worked with Orthopaedic Surgeons on Post and Pre Surgical recovery.
Your ability to interact with the customers (Surgeons) will be key to your success in this role.
Covering the Cork / Munster Territory with your other colleagues we need you based in or near Cork City.
Full training will be supplied on all my clients Orthopaedic Devices and Equipment, but you must have a min. of 2 Years previous clinical experience in a Hospital setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Physio who wants to break into a commercial role; as the Clinical Support Specialist often progress into Surgical Sales, offering improved remuneration.

This position is only open to Irish, UK and EU Citizens who can work across the whole 32 Counties with no Visa Restrictions.
Package
- Full Time / Perm (Mon – Fri)
- € - Basic (Dependent on Experience)

Role
The Clinical Specialist will support sales and market objectives by promoting a range of Ortho Devices to Key Opinion Leaders and Large Hospital Groups across the Territory.
There will be 12 weeks in-hospital observational training, where you will be shadowing an experienced Territory Manager who will be clinically supporting cases.
Duties
- Provide customers with technical advice and appropriate training on the safe and effective use of the company's products and surgical techniques
- Engage with both existing and new HCP to develop robust sales opportunity pipeline and advise appropriate sales leads
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer activity on the company's CRM system, including information on customer usage, purchasing protocols and relevant competitor activity, working jointly with the appropriate Territory Manager/Sales Lead
- In addition to the customer facing activity, the Clinical Specialist will also support the development of product & procedure knowledge with the sales team. This may be teaching in a theatre setting, classroom teaching, or involvement in our Induction Training Programme
Experience
- 2-5 Years’ experience working in Hospital based Physiotherapy role
- Specific experience in Ortho Surgical Healthcare a major advantage
• Full Clean Driving License
- Very keen to talk with Scrub Nursing staff looking to break into Surgical Support as well
