Qualifications and experience
- A qualification in physiotherapy or osteopathy is required.
- At least three years of relevant professional experience is required.
- Strong hands-on skills and knowledge of anatomy, soft-tissue techniques, and movement mechanics are required.
- Experience using mobility, stretching, and functional exercises in individual sessions is required.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.
- Interest in wellness and recovery and collaborative multidisciplinary work is sought.
Workplace and licensing context
- Wellnest is a non-medical wellness centre, not a medical clinic; the role does not involve medical diagnosis.
- The establishment cannot activate a DHA professional licence under its current licence.
- Applicants with DHA eligibility or a DHA licence are welcome if they understand the non-medical role and licensing limitation.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on bodywork and movement guidance tailored to each client’s goals.
- Design and guide functional exercises within individual sessions.
- Help clients improve mobility, posture, and everyday movement over time.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a wellness and recovery setting.
