Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Physics Research Expert (Solver) to work on a contractor/part-time basis.

This role involves applying deep domain expertise in physics to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.

As a Physics Research Expert (Solver), you will be part of a global network of experts contributing to the development of frontier AI models, providing authentic, up-to-date insights for AI training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute deep domain expertise in your specialized physics subfield, providing authentic, up-to-date insights for AI training initiatives.
  • Formulate, solve, and document advanced mathematical physics problems using rigorous methodologies.
  • Develop and validate computational models, simulations, and analytical solutions leveraging Python, Sympy, and Jupyter environments.
  • Produce high-quality, publication-level written explanations and derivations with clear, structured reasoning.
  • Collaborate with AI labs and enterprises to provide real-world expertise that improves how AI models perform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Deep subfield expertise in physics, with a strong understanding of mathematical problem-solving and research execution.
  • Strong scientific computing skills, including proficiency in Python, Sympy, and Jupyter environments.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, publication-level written explanations and derivations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global network of experts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
