Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Burn Unit (4854)

UT Regional One Physicians is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Certified Burn Center in Memphis, TN.

Day or night shift position available working 12-hour shifts.

JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Participates as a member of the health care team to meet patient needs and provide continuity of care. Under the administrative and technical supervision of a physician, performs medical services in the care and treatment of patients by obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, applying diagnostic techniques, ordering tests/procedures and evaluating to assess medical condition, developing treatment plans and performing selected therapeutic tasks, or other special procedures.

Roles include First Assist in the OR for PA and NPs with First Assist certification.

The NP or PA-C will also provide pre-op / post-op care for Burn and Wound Care patients.

The areas that will be included in this role include:

• Burn ICU/Stepdown
• Burn ED
• Burn ORs
