Education and Experience

  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. One (1) year physical therapist assistant experience in a hospital or correctional healthcare environment preferred.
  • Required certification and licensure as follows: Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant., Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • Post Hire Requirements:
  • Must successfully complete annual requirements to include maintaining licenses, certifications, and passing an annual background check.
