Position Overview

Part-time or full-time Physical Therapist position located in Pocahontas, IA

Full-time benefits starting at 30 hours per week

The setting will consist of both inpatient and outpatient with some home health within a community based hospital

Hospital is breaking ground in the Spring of 2027 for a brand new therapy department

Pay range: $36+/hour , depending on experience

Sign-on bonus or student loan assistant available

2 hours from Sioux City and Des Moines Iowa

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients
  • Complete documentation
  • Plan, market and develop new programs
  • Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff
  • Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
  • Assist in the general operation of the department

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

  • Bachelors (B.A., B.S. ), Master’s degree (M.A., M.S. ) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy
  • Graduate of a certified physical therapy program
  • Possess or be eligible for state licensure
