Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents with physical impairments or disabilities
- Conduct physical therapy treatments, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Colorado
- Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
