Position Summary
The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting and processing specimens for laboratory analysis.
The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies.
Responsibilities
include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKG's, order entry, and specimen processing.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certificate or 1 years’ experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups
