Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Pharmacist** to join our healthcare team in **Nauru**.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and compliant dispensing of medications while supporting high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness and drug interactions
- Provide patient counseling on medication use and side effects
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
- Monitor stock levels and support procurement of pharmaceutical supplies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Valid pharmacy license/registration in home country
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience (hospital or clinical preferred)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication safety
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with inventory systems and electronic medical records
