Job Description – PPF Technician (Paint Protection Film Technician) (For Iraq)
Job Summary
The PPF Technician is responsible for the professional installation of Paint Protection Film (PPF) on vehicles to protect painted surfaces from scratches, stone chips, and environmental damage.
The technician must ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while adhering to company standards and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) on vehicle body panels according to manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by washing, decontaminating, and performing paint correction when required.
- Measure, cut, and apply PPF accurately using templates and plotter software where applicable.
- Remove and reapply film when necessary to meet quality standards.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a flawless finish free from bubbles, lifting, contamination, or visible defects.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Report material usage and inventory requirements to the supervisor.
- Assist with other vehicle protection services such as ceramic coating, window tinting, and detailing when required.
- Ensure vehicles are handled carefully to prevent damage during the installation process.
& Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in PPF installation.
- Knowledge of different PPF brands and installation techniques.
- Ability to use plotter cutting systems and software is preferred.
- Understanding of vehicle body panels and paint protection methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
