Petroleum Data Technician / Well Records Analyst

🚨 We're Hiring: Well Data Extraction & Document Control Specialist

Are you experienced in well data management, drilling reports, and document control within the oil & gas industry?

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team and support the extraction, classification, and management of critical well data and documentation.

*(Also known as Petroleum Data Technician / Well Records Analyst)*

✔ Extract and interpret data from End of Well Reports (EOWR) and Daily Drilling Reports.

✔ Classify well services including drilling, logging, cementing, workover, coring, and testing activities.

✔ Search, retrieve, and validate well-related documents using enterprise content management systems.

✔ Manage document filing, metadata tagging, version control, and repository organization.

✔ Ensure compliance with data governance standards and perform quality assurance checks.

✔ Collaborate with technical teams to improve data extraction and classification processes.

✔ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences, Information Management, or a related field.

✔ 2–4 years of experience in well data management, drilling report analysis, or document control within the oil & gas industry.

✔ Experience with content management systems such as Laserfiche, SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum, or similar platforms.

✔ Familiarity with well reporting standards and well lifecycle operations.

✔ Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document indexing/search tools.

Valid UAE Residence Visa is mandatory.
