We are seeking a professional and animal-loving Pet Groomer to join our growing veterinary clinic.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, clipping, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance
- Assess pets' coat and skin condition and report any abnormalities to the veterinarian when required
- Safely handle dogs, cats, and other pets during grooming procedures
- Maintain grooming equipment and ensure proper cleaning and sanitization
- Keep grooming areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards
- Educate pet owners on grooming schedules and basic coat care
- Recommend appropriate grooming products and services when applicable
- Manage grooming appointments and ensure timely service delivery
- Ensure the safety and welfare of pets throughout the grooming process
- Support clinic operations as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional pet grooming experience
- Experience grooming different breeds of dogs and cats
- Strong animal handling skills
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles is preferred
- Ability to identify basic skin, coat, and health concerns
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic English communication skills required (Arabic is an advantage)
