Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pest Control Technician role based in Sharjah.
The Pest Control Technician will inspect client sites to identify pest activity, sources of infestation, and potential risk areas.
The role includes applying approved pesticides and treatments, setting traps and monitoring devices, and using appropriate equipment in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
The technician will complete service reports, maintain accurate records, and clearly explain treatment plans, safety precautions, and follow-up recommendations to customers.
Day-to-day work also involves following company protocols, maintaining tools and vehicles in good condition, and coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of pest identification, infestation assessment, and safe application of pest control treatments.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to pest control operations.
- Ability to read and follow service orders, complete clear service reports, and communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Physical ability to work in varied environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces) and to lift, carry, and handle equipment as required.
- Valid UAE driving license or ability to travel to different client sites as needed.
- Previous experience in pest control, facilities services, or a related technical field is an advantage.
- Relevant pest control certifications or willingness to complete company-supported training and obtain required licenses.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following company guidelines and schedules.
