Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Full-Time & Part-Time

Spring Oak Senior Living | Christiansburg, VA Pay: $16–$17 per hour Day, Evening & Overnight Shifts Available

Spring Oak Christiansburg is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our resident care team. If you enjoy helping seniors and making a meaningful difference each day, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, according to their care plans.
  • Provide compassionate support and companionship while promoting residents’ dignity and independence.
  • Assist with mobility and daily routines as needed.
  • Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Caregiver certificate and completion of applicable training courses.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and an understanding of the aging process.
  • Dependability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Availability to work the scheduled shift and every other weekend.

Shifts:

7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

All positions include every other weekend.
