Permits & Licensing Officer (Real Estate Development)

Prepare, submit, and track all permit applications with municipal and government authorities

Maintain a live compliance and approvals register for all active projects

Coordinate with design consultants to prepare complete permit submission packages

Build and manage working relationships with key regulatory bodies and officials

Flag approval risks and delays proactively to the Development Director

Monitor changes to zoning laws, building codes, and local regulations

Support the legal team in reviewing authority approvals and license conditions
-
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Urban Planning
-
Minimum 4 years of permitting experience in the real estate or construction industry

In-depth knowledge of local municipality procedures and building regulations
-
Proven track record obtaining permits for large-scale development projects

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills

Excellent interpersonal skills for government liaison and authority relations
