Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough periodontal examinations and assessments to diagnose gum diseases
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with periodontal issues
• Perform periodontal treatments such as scaling, root planing, soft tissue grafts, and dental implant surgery
• Educate patients about periodontal maintenance and oral hygiene best practices
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Keep detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Stay updated on the latest advances in periodontics and apply best practices in patient treatment

Requirements

• Dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in Periodontics
• Valid dental license and board certification in Periodontics
• Proven experience in performing surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
