Main Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative fragrance compositions across fine fragrance and other categories.
• Lead the fragrance creation process from concept development to final approval.
• Develop fragrances adapted to the olfactive preferences, cultural expectations, and market dynamics of the MEA region.
• Create fragrances balancing creativity, technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and cost objectives.
• Continuously explore new olfactive territories, ingredient technologies, and formulation approaches.
• Present fragrance creations and olfactive directions confidently to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Understand client expectations and translate them into tailored fragrance solutions.
• Develop fragrances specifically adapted to regional olfactive preferences and cultural expectations.
• Contribute to regional innovation strategies and fragrance portfolio development.
• Collaborate closely with evaluators, perfumers, technical teams, marketing, and sales teams across the MEA region and international subsidiaries.
• Ensure fragrance creations comply with regulatory, safety, and technical requirements.
• Partner with laboratory and technical teams to optimize fragrance performance and stability.
• Maintain awareness of industry regulations, raw material developments, and sustainability initiatives

Profile Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Perfumery, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fragrance creation.
• Proven track record of successful fragrance developments.
• Strong understanding of fragrance raw materials, olfactive construction, and formulation techniques.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and ability to create fragrances aligned with market needs.
• Experience working with MEA markets and regional consumer preferences is highly preferred.
• Fluent English required; French and/or Arabic is a strong advantage.

• French is a plus.
