Perfume Procurement Specialist

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• **Supplier Management** — Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with fragrance oil manufacturers, aroma chemical suppliers, and packaging vendors.
• **Purchase Planning** — Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and sales trends.
• **Cost Optimization** — Secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• **Quality Coordination** — Work with QC teams to ensure raw materials meet IFRA and internal specifications.
• **Inventory Control** — Maintain optimal stock levels and track expiry‑sensitive materials.
• **Documentation** — Manage POs, contracts, MSDS, COAs, and compliance documents.
• **Market Research** — Monitor fragrance trends, new raw materials, and supplier innovations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• **Procurement Experience** — 1–3 years in purchasing, ideally in fragrance, cosmetics, Perfumes or FMCG.
• **Fragrance Knowledge** — Understanding of essential oils, aroma chemicals, accords, and IFRA guidelines.
• **Negotiation Skills** — Ability to secure favorable terms and build long‑term supplier relationships.
• **ERP/Software Skills** — Experience with procurement or inventory systems.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with fragrance houses or raw‑material distributors.
• Knowledge of GCC import regulations and customs processes.
• Background in chemistry, perfumery, supply chain, or business.
