About The Role
We are seeking a **Perfume Procurement Specialist** to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships for fragrance oils, aroma chemicals, packaging components,perfumes and related materials.
The ideal candidate understands the fragrance supply chain and can balance cost, quality, and lead times.
Key Responsibilities
- **Supplier Management** — Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with fragrance oil manufacturers, aroma chemical suppliers, and packaging vendors.
- **Purchase Planning** — Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and sales trends.
- **Cost Optimization** — Secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- **Quality Coordination** — Work with QC teams to ensure raw materials meet IFRA and internal specifications.
- **Inventory Control** — Maintain optimal stock levels and track expiry‑sensitive materials.
- **Documentation** — Manage POs, contracts, MSDS, COAs, and compliance documents.
- **Market Research** — Monitor fragrance trends, new raw materials, and supplier innovations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- **Procurement Experience** — 1–3 years in purchasing, ideally in fragrance, cosmetics, Perfumes or FMCG.
- **Fragrance Knowledge** — Understanding of essential oils, aroma chemicals, accords, and IFRA guidelines.
- **Negotiation Skills** — Ability to secure favorable terms and build long‑term supplier relationships.
- **ERP/Software Skills** — Experience with procurement or inventory systems.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with fragrance houses or raw‑material distributors.
- Knowledge of GCC import regulations and customs processes.
- Background in chemistry, perfumery, supply chain, or business.
