Qualifications

  • Ideally the candidate has a professional designation in accounting such as the CPA. The candidate is also already enrolled in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program
  • Strong accounting and financial analysis and modeling skills
  • Strong initiative and a willingness to constantly expand knowledge and business acumen
  • Adaptable to the uncertain, time restrictive and changing nature of the job; and to work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to handle a range of personalities and to be able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer relationship and business development skills
  • Curiosity to learn about the impacts on a business including the macro-economic factors
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
  • Occasional travel required

  • The salary range for this position is $87,700 - $137,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centers. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
