Performance marketing responsibilities
- Build, launch, and manage campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (Search, Performance Max, and Shopping).
- Maintain account hygiene with negative keywords, audience exclusions, budget pacing, and bid adjustments.
- Plan and run structured A/B tests across creatives, copy, audiences, and landing pages.
- Coordinate and rotate ad creatives with the design team to minimize creative fatigue.
- Track ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rate; flag problems the same day.
- Maintain tracking using Meta Pixel and Conversions API, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and UTMs.
- Deliver weekly performance reports and monthly reviews with recommendations.
- Document accounts and processes in a shared playbook.
Other marketing responsibilities
- Support email campaign setup, segmentation, and quality assurance.
- Help with social content, competitor ad monitoring, and promotions.
- Assist with in-store and event activations when needed.
Requirements
- A genuine eagerness to learn performance marketing; prior paid-campaign experience is not required, and training will be provided.
- Be a generative-AI native.
- Be comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets, such as Excel or Google Sheets.
- Have clear written English.
- Be eligible to undertake a paid internship in the UAE.
- Any exposure to Meta or Google Ads through coursework, freelance work, a personal project, or certification.
- Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- E-commerce or D2C experience; Shopify is a plus.
- Basic design skills, such as Canva or CapCut.
- Interest in pets or pet nutrition.
