The Performance Analyst supports Aberdeen’s investment reporting capability across performance, attribution, risk and GIPS information.
The role supports client reporting, investment decision-making, governance forums and regulatory requirements.
The position combines performance measurement expertise, data analysis, stakeholder engagement and process improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Own the production, review and oversight of investment performance reporting and related analysis.
- Deliver performance data for RFPs, consultants, client-facing activity and governance reporting.
- Support GIPS compliance, monthly production activities and annual external verification.
- Produce SRRI calculations, MPS performance data and Assessment of Value analysis.
- Investigate data issues, strengthen controls and use technology and AI to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with Investments, Risk, Governance, Legal, Compliance and external providers.
Candidate requirements
- Experience in investment performance measurement, attribution, reporting or investment data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and control.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders and translating complex data into clear insights.
- Knowledge of FactSet, Bi-Sam, Morningstar or similar performance reporting platforms.
- Interest in process improvement, innovation and practical AI applications in reporting.
