Workplace and contract
- The role is based in East Grinstead and offers hybrid working.
- The contract type is permanent.
Responsibilities
- Translate people strategy into actionable plans aligned with business priorities.
- Lead pay and bonus reviews, performance calibration, talent management and succession planning.
- Develop strategic workforce plans for current and future business needs.
- Coach leaders through complex people matters and support leadership development.
- Advise on complex employee relations matters with Employee Relations and Legal.
- Improve organisational performance, capability and culture using organisational development insights.
- Embed the People Team operating model across specialist teams, leaders and employees.
- Lead people projects and support culture change aligned with the People Deal.
Experience and qualifications
- Degree-qualified HR professional with CIPD Level 7.
- Extensive People Partner, HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist experience.
- Experience in a large corporate business, ideally manufacturing or engineering.
- Experience with organisational development, change and project management approaches.
- Experience leading TUPE activity and negotiating with trade unions.
- Experience negotiating pay agreements is desirable.
- Strong commercial insight, coaching, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work across languages, regions and perspectives.
