People Operations Leader

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, training, administrative or HR-related experience
• Participation in FLA, ASLA, SLRA, DLRP or other Zelmo's leadership-development programs
• Experience coaching, mentoring or training others
• Experience working with spreadsheets, reports or data analysis
• Familiarity with BambooHR, TRIKE or similar business systems
• Demonstrated involvement in Zelmo's leadership initiatives or cross-store projects
• College coursework, degree, professional certification or other continuing education
• Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee selection for an interview or advancement in the process. Candidates will be evaluated based on demonstrated performance, leadership potential, judgment, communication, learning ability, organizational thinking and readiness to develop into the role.
• Do I Need HR Experience?
• Not necessarily. Previous HR, training, leadership, administrative or management experience would be helpful, but we are also interested in people who have demonstrated the ability and willingness to learn.
• The selected individual will have an opportunity to work alongside the current People Operations Leader during an extended transition period to learn the systems, responsibilities and philosophy behind the role.
• Education
• A college degree is always welcome but not required. Demonstrated leadership, judgment, communication skills, learning ability, initiative and relevant Zelmo's experience may be considered in place of formal education.
