- highly skilled and board-certified Consultant Paediatric Cardiac Surgeon
- to join a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart conditions, while contributing to academic, research, and multidisciplinary initiatives.
- 🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex paediatric cardiac surgeries including open-heart procedures, valve repairs, and congenital defect corrections.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including ICU management and long-term follow-up.
- Collaborate with paediatric cardiologists, anaesthesiologists, and intensivists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical interventions.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to departmental research, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Board Certification (e.g., American Board, FRCS, Arab Board, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5–10 years of post-fellowship experience in paediatric cardiac surgery.
- Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes in high-volume centers.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an asset but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in the GCC region is preferred.
