  • Collaborate with coaches to build performance profiles and ensure tailored feedback is delivered to athletes and parents.
  • Produce monthly reports analysing wellbeing, load, attendance, behaviour, and performance data to identify trends and areas for intervention.
  • Work closely with the High Performance Coordinator to support IAP reviews with comprehensive performance summaries.
  • Create visual and video-based coaching content to support technical and tactical development, including highlight reels, breakdown clips, and team reviews.
  • Explore and implement emerging technologies and AI tools to enhance performance tracking, player tracking, and auto-tagging software.
  • Support the development of digital portfolios for athletes seeking scholarships or external performance opportunities.
  • Ensure all data systems comply with school data protection and safeguarding policies.
  • Develop specific professional development across the GEMS Network as part of the Centre of Excellence for Sport.
  • Any other responsibilities above and beyond the role that the Director of Sport or High Performance Coordinator deems necessary to support whole school objectives and outcomes.

  • Experience working in a school, academy, or professional sport setting in a performance analysis or data role.
  • Proficiency in performance software (e.g. HUDL and VALD) and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of athlete monitoring systems, video tagging, and load management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to coaches, athletes, and parents.
  • Passion for using data and technology to improve athlete development, wellbeing, and outcomes.
  • GEMS Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of its students and staff.
  • A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
