About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Microelectronics Technician
to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and PCB assemblies used in UAV and embedded hardware platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
- PCB assembly
- (SMT & through-hole components)
- Carry out
- soldering, de-soldering, and rework
- activities
- Execute
- micro-soldering
- on fine-pitch components (QFN, BGA, etc.)
- Conduct:
- Functional testing
- Continuity and voltage checks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic faults at board and component level
- Use test equipment:
- Oscilloscope
- Multimeter
- Hot air station
- Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and technical drawings
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
- Hands-on experience in:
- PCB assembly and repair
- Electronics testing and troubleshooting
- Strong soldering and micro-soldering skills
- Familiarity with:
- Test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, etc.)
- PCB tools / design software (Altium, AutoCAD – plus)
- Knowledge of ESD handling and lab protocols
- Good attention to detail and documentation skills
