PBX Operator - Communications Center

Responsible for answering all incoming calls into the hospital's main telephone number, physician's answering service and in house operator calls; provides in person visitor information, reception, and paging.

Coordinates all emergency communications to include Trauma Codes, Codes 4, NICU, Codes Red, Codes Blue, Codes Yellows, Codes 900, and Helicopter Landing.

Monitors Hospital Alarm Panels, handles all Fire and Disaster Drills and operates hospital two way radios.

• Previous switchboard experience in healthcare setting.
