Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented
Payroll Specialist
to join the HR team of a leading, large-scale healthcare group in the region.
The role sits within a centralized payroll function supporting a diverse workforce across multiple medical facilities and corporate entities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong
healthcare industry experience
, combined with expertise in
payroll operations, budgeting, and forecasting
, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team of payroll professionals.
Payroll Operations
- End-to-end payroll processing for a large, multi-entity workforce in compliance with UAE labor laws and internal policies
- Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Manage payroll inputs including allowances, overtime, deductions, and benefits
- Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee data
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Support payroll-related
- financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities
- Analyze payroll trends, variances, and headcount costs to support decision-making
- Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to align payroll projections with workforce strategies
- Prepare periodic payroll reports and cost analyses for management review
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards
- Support payroll audits and provide required documentation and reconciliations
- Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting payroll practices
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with a
- team of Payroll Specialists
- to ensure operational efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members when required
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience as a
- Payroll Specialist within the healthcare sector
- Strong knowledge of UAE payroll regulations, WPS, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience in
- payroll forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience handling large-scale payroll operations (multi-entity or high headcount)
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar payroll systems)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
