Temporary Payroll & Exception Resolution Specialist — $35.00/Hourly

Location: Remote / Work from Home, with occasional office or training needs

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, subject to Human Resources confirmation

PeopleCare Health Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Temporary Payroll & Exception Resolution Specialist to provide focused support with scheduling exceptions, manual timesheets, visit verification, and payroll readiness during the transition from Catalyst to AlayaCare.

This is a specialized support position rather than a regular Scheduler role.

Its primary purpose is to help ensure visit records and supporting documentation are reviewed, corrected, and prepared accurately before payroll deadlines.

The employee may occasionally assist with other scheduling or operational needs at the manager’s direction.

However, those activities will remain secondary to the position’s primary payroll, exception-resolution, and timesheet responsibilities.

• Review, investigate, and resolve assigned scheduling and visit exceptions.
• Monitor outstanding exceptions and help ensure they are fully processed before payroll deadlines.
• Follow up by phone with caregivers, clients, or appropriate internal team members when additional information is needed.
• Review missed clock-ins, missed clock-outs, missed visits, incomplete visit records, and other visit-verification issues.
• Verify available information before correcting visit records or routing them for approval.
• Identify discrepancies that could result in incorrect caregiver payment or unsupported billing.
