Role description
Part-time Payroll Officer responsible for managing and executing the organization's payroll processes.
Hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility.
Duties
- Prepare and process salaries; handle deductions, benefits, and allowances.
- Calculate and file payroll taxes in compliance with local regulations and maintain payroll records.
- Coordinate payroll account reconciliation with Finance and respond to payroll inquiries.
- Collaborate with HR and management on reporting and help improve payroll procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong payroll administration skills, including end-to-end processing and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes and regulatory compliance; ability to calculate and report taxes accurately.
- Finance skills including accounting principles, reconciliation, and data analysis.
- Effective communication, attention to detail, integrity, organization, and time management.
- Proficiency with payroll and accounting software, spreadsheets, and office productivity tools.
- Prior payroll or finance experience; technology or hosting industry experience is advantageous.
- Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
