Position Overview
We are seeking a **Pawnshop Operations Coordinator** to oversee and manage daily pawnshop operations.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, customer service knowledge, and the ability to coordinate between clients, staff, and vendors.
The Pawnshop Operations Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining PTS Gadget Pawnshop LLC’s reputation for trust and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily pawnshop operations including item intake, valuation, and loan processing.
- Liaise with customers to explain services, terms, and repayment schedules.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate documentation and secure handling of pledged items.
- Maintain records of transactions, contracts, and customer communications.
- Monitor inventory of pawned items and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar’s financial and pawnshop regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in pawnshop operations, retail, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of pawnshop processes, customer service, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and retail/financial management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver under deadlines.
