Patient Access Representative - Primary Care

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification: BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Fingerprint Clearance: DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience: 1+ years' experience working in a customer service and/or office setting
- Work Requirements: Able to reach above and below shoulder level, lift, bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and sit for the full scheduled shift; able to use business office equipment/computer. Expected duties have, but not routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service completing the registration process for patients. Confirms patient demographic information, verification of benefits, scheduling and coordinating post discharge care for patients, collection of copays or payments, balancing of accounts, and general data entry. Preregister, register, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients according to the defined guidelines.
