Overview

Responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts, bread, and other baked products while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and bakery items.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Develop and update dessert and pastry offerings as required.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering pastry ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
  • Minimize wastage and control food costs.
  • Follow food safety, HACCP, and company standards.
  • Train and support pastry team members when required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Chef.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
  • Knowledge of pastry production, baking techniques, and dessert presentation.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
