Role Description
This full-time, on-site Pastry Chef de Partie position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, within an Italian restaurant concept managed by Infini Concepts.
The Pastry CDP will prepare, bake, and finish a variety of Italian-inspired pastries and desserts, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
Daily responsibilities include following standardized recipes, assisting in menu development, mis-en-place, portioning, and plating, while coordinating smoothly with the head pastry chef and kitchen team.
The role involves maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards, monitoring stock and ingredient freshness, and supporting inventory control and cost management.
The Pastry CDP will also help train junior team members, uphold kitchen cleanliness, and contribute to a positive, collaborative working atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Strong pastry production skills, including Bakery and Baking, with experience in Italian or European-style desserts.
- Solid foundation in Cooking techniques relevant to pastry and hot dessert preparation.
- Commitment to Hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness in line with UAE and international standards.
- Demonstrated Creativity Skills in dessert design, flavor pairing, and presentation.
- Previous experience as a Pastry CDP or Demi CDP in a high-quality restaurant, hotel, or patisserie.
- Relevant culinary or pastry qualification or certificate is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural team and adapt to operational needs and schedules.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and consistency in delivering high-quality products.
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
