Job Summary

The Parts Advisor is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and selling automotive spare parts for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and other European vehicle brands.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of European automotive parts, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to proactively develop new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, commercially driven, and capable of building long-term customer relationships while consistently achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and supply genuine, OEM, and aftermarket spare parts for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and other European vehicle brands.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and process customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with workshops, fleet operators, traders, retailers, and direct customers.
  • Actively seek and develop new business opportunities to increase sales and expand the customer base.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the parts division.
  • Utilize electronic parts catalogues (EPC), VIN decoding systems, and manufacturer databases to accurately identify parts.
  • Follow up on quotations, pending orders, and customer requirements to maximize conversion rates.
  • Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to customers.
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, sales activities, and order status.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify growth opportunities.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote company products and services through regular customer visits, calls, and relationship-building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive spare parts sales.
  • Strong hands-on experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and other European automotive brands.
  • Experience in the UAE automotive parts market is highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of European vehicle spare parts, part number identification, and cataloguing systems.
  • Strong understanding of genuine, OEM, and aftermarket parts.
  • Proven ability to develop business and generate sales opportunities.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, sales, and closing skills.
  • Self-driven, energetic, proactive, and target-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid UAE Driving License mandatory.
  • Willingness to visit customers and develop business relationships across the UAE.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for customer service and sales.
