The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW is seeking a Partnership Account Manager for its Commercial team.
The role drives sponsorship and advertising revenue and manages partners across the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal Competitions, education programs, and other agricultural events.
Role responsibilities
- Develop and present sponsorship proposals, identify new business opportunities, and nurture relationships with sponsors and other stakeholders.
- Deliver sponsorship benefits and assist with sponsorship agreements, budget administration, event activations, reporting, and sales-related events and functions.
- During the Sydney Royal Easter Show, deliver sponsor experiences, activations, branding, and advertising opportunities while maintaining client satisfaction.
Required experience and skills
- Experience in sponsorship, sales, account management, business development, or a similar client-facing commercial role.
- Experience preparing and presenting proposals, presentations, or commercial opportunities.
- Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management, organisation, administration, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities and tight deadlines.
- High-level Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Provide excellent client service and work independently and collaboratively with a positive, professional, solution-focused approach.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Event Management, or a related discipline are desirable.
- Experience in sponsorship, advertising, events, partnerships, client accounts, commercial outcomes, sponsor activations, or promotional campaigns is desirable.
- Understanding of or interest in agriculture, events, entertainment, or related industries is desirable.
Event schedule
- Evening and weekend work is required during key event periods, including the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Work environment
- The role includes direct work with sponsors during the Sydney Royal Easter Show to deliver onsite event experiences and activations.
