Role Overview
Envoi is hiring four seasonal Warehouse Associates for immediate openings at its Vaughan Distribution Centre.
The role supports fast, accurate, and efficient package processing for driver pickups.
The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Schedule and Contract
- The contract runs from October 12 through December 31 for approximately 11.5 weeks.
- The job is part-time seasonal at approximately 24 hours per week.
- Shifts run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and may extend to 5:00 PM during peak volume.
- Work is scheduled six days per week while the facility operates seven days per week.
Compensation
- Pay is 18.50 CAD per hour and is paid weekly every Monday by direct deposit.
- A 100 CAD lump-sum holiday completion bonus is paid on the final paycheque after completing the contract through December 31.
Responsibilities
- Remove packages from pallets, place them on conveyors, and sort products according to guidelines.
- Scan barcodes with a smartphone and the Envoi app, then position packages on sorting racks.
- Assist with loading packages directly into driver vehicles for delivery routes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment by organizing pallets and clearing shrink wrap.
Candidate Requirements
- Own a smartphone with a functioning camera to run the Envoi scanning app.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, and shelve packages throughout a four-hour shift.
- Be able to safely lift packages up to 50 pounds; most packages weigh under 10 pounds.
- Maintain high punctuality and attendance for short daily shifts.
