Part Time Studio Operations Specialist – Richmond, Melbourne, VIC (Australia)

Pronto Pilates is a rapidly emerging fitness brand with new studios opening nationally.

At Pronto, our mission is…

“Pilates for the People… affordable, all-day classes so now everyone can enjoy reformer Pilates!”

Backed by an established international marketing company with 100 team members serving thousands of clients worldwide.

Our company culture is characterised by the “outward mindset”… understanding and being responsive to the needs and challenges of others. To learn more, watch this short 3-min video to see how you feel about our culture?

We are looking for a part-time, Studio Operations Specialist for our Richmond studio. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role reporting directly to the Studio Success Manager.

You’ll assume responsibility for our members' experience in the studio. Every sense… what they see, hear, touch and smell to ensure a 5-star class experience every time!

Specific duties include:

  • Cleaning, adjusting, and maintaining exercise equipment
  • Maintaining studio comfort and ambience by monitoring lighting, temperature and any odours (with air freshening methods)
  • Managing stock and coordinating deliveries
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting the robot vacuum/mop (we love tech that makes our jobs easier!)
  • Coordinating with contractors and suppliers for occasional studio maintenance needs
  • On call to address occasional, urgent cleaning and maintenance needs
  • Proactive engagement with members (we’d love you to enjoy the studio with regular classes)
  • Connecting with local businesses to promote Pronto
  • Reporting to your manager on essential studio stats

To secure an interview, you should possess the following qualities:

Be meticulous about cleanliness and order (think “Marie Kondo”).

Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

Self-managing and taking initiative to always serve our members well

Proven reliability in admin or supervisory roles

Confidence to connect with members and local businesses

Applicants who are investors in Pronto Pilates, or who are a friend or relative of any investor, are not eligible to apply.

Experience in the Pilates or fitness industry is not necessary. We will train you on everything you need to know in our supportive and team-oriented environment.

This is a part-time, 6 – 10 hours/week contractor role. Nominal hours of work are Monday through Sunday, with four set shifts per week (Mon, Wed, Fri and one day on the weekend of your choosing). Working hours are flexible, however, they need to be outside of member peak hours, which are 5:15-9:00 am and 4:30-7:30 pm. In addition, there is the possibility of call-outs, events and local area networking. Compensation ranges from $30 – $40/hour (plus incentives) depending on your experience.

Ready to join an upbeat team serving the community with the life-changing benefits of Pilates?
