JOB DUTIES
- The Shippers and Receivers at the ACE Bakery Hafis Road work in loading dock environments at the 1 Hafis and 19 Hafis warehouses and are responsible for the following:
- Receive ingredients and packaging supplies
- Place received ingredients in dry storage area
- Load trailers with completed skids of product for shipment
- Load individual items or condensed skids of production supplies for transport between 1 Hafis and 19 Hafis production facilities
- Complete paperwork, including creating PO in SAP, making shipping/receiving entries in SAP
- General cleaning and tidying of shipping and receiving bays
- Any individual interested in applying for this position must make their interest known in writing to the Production Supervisor and/or Operations Coordinator no later than the deadline above.
- Shift times and Work Week are subject to change depending on business requirements.
- In selecting a candidate to fill a permanent vacancy which the Employer wishes to fill within the bargaining unit, the Employer shall consider:
- a) Work Performance, present ability/qualifications and physical ability to perform the work
- b) Seniority.
- Where the factors in (a) are relatively equal then factor (b) shall govern.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or shipping / receiving experience is an asset
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs; no forklifts on-site
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Work in a safe and considerable manner
- Dedicated to the health and safety of one-self and colleagues
- You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance
- You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly
