Part Time Photographer

ABOUT THE POSITION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Capturing high-quality headshots for staff trainings
• Photographing events, voter outreach efforts, and grassroots activities. • Editing and delivering photos within required turnaround times. • Organizing and uploading photos to shared drives and media libraries. • Coordinating with the administrative team on shot lists and coverage needs. • Ensuring brand consistency and visual standards are met. • Traveling locally to cover assigned events and activities as scheduled. • Maintaining and managing photography equipment. • Assisting with media coverage planning for major initiatives and events. • Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year experience in photography (event, journalism, campaign, or commercial preferred). • Working knowledge of photo editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar). • Ability to manage file organization and digital asset delivery. • Have close personal alignment with the mission and principles of the organization. • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments. • Be organized, a self-starter, and deadline-driven. • Ability to work evenings and weekends as events require. • Reflect a strong work ethic and desire for excellence.

“WOW!” SKILLS

• Experience photographing political, campaign, or grassroots events. • Experience with social media photo formatting and quick-turn content. • Experience working with communications or digital media teams. • Access to professional-grade camera and lens equipment. • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. • Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned.
