Part Time Medical Transportation Driver

Work Location
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the Rochester, MN Schedule: Part-time, On-call Weekend (Friday and Saturday) availability required (Average of 20–30 hours per week, with hours varying based on trip volume). Flexibility to support throughout the week preferred.
How You Will Be Rewarded as an On-Call Driver
Compensation: $23/hour, plus an additional $2/hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Sick Time: Employer paid sick time
Key Responsibilities of an On-Call Driver
- Provide professional ground transportation for surgical teams, specimens, and critical medical equipment
- Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Strata Critical operational procedures
- Perform vehicle safety checks and fleet maintenance tasks
- Maintain constant communication with logistics coordinators and respond to dispatch calls within 10 minutes
- Handle medical specimens and sensitive cargo with utmost care and precision
Qualifications & Skills of an On-Call Driver
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 39-month driving record
- 2+ years of driving experience
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Experience in medical transport, logistics, or professional driving a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Reliable cell phone access and availability for on-call shifts
