• The College of General Education is seeking qualified part-time instructors **exclusively from candidates available locally i.e. in Qatar with valid QID and no objection letter (NOC)** to teach in-person **first-and second-year undergraduate laboratory courses in the following subject areas**:
• **Chemistry** (General Chemistry)
• **Biology** (Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Anatomy & Physiology)

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head of Science Department, successful candidates will be responsible for:
• Delivering first-and second-year undergraduate laboratory course content
• Engaging students using creative and innovative teaching approaches
• Providing timely and constructive feedback on assessments and assignments
• Assessing and evaluating student progress in line with course outcomes
• Collaborating with faculty teams to support curriculum goals
• Managing instructional resources and maintaining an effective learning environment
• Adhering to institutional policies on academic integrity, attendance, and student support

Qualifications

• **Minimum Qualifications:*** Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related applied or pedagogical field) from a recognized university
• A minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching experience at the upper secondary level or in post-secondary/higher education institutions
• **Preferred Qualifications:*** Post-graduate certificate, diploma, or degree in education or teaching methods
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
• Demonstrated experience teaching first-year undergraduate courses
• **Other Required Skills*** Proficiency with adaptive learning technologies and learning management systems
• Ability to support inclusive, technology-enhanced learning environments
• Digital fluency in tools that promote student engagement and feedback
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated collegiality and professionalism in working with students and faculty
• Ability to manage the resources of the learning environment and course portfolio documents required for program review and accreditation processes
