Part-time hands-on kitchen role producing fresh fudge, caramels, chocolates, waffle cones, and other treats in the Burr Ridge shop.

Role Overview
Part-time hands-on kitchen role producing fresh fudge, caramels, chocolates, waffle cones, and other treats in the Burr Ridge shop.
The team will train the associate in artisan confection techniques and production procedures.
The role works directly with the owners in a small, focused team.
Schedule
- AM shifts are available from 11 AM to 5 PM.
- PM shifts are available from 4 PM to 9 PM.
- The schedule is built around the associate's availability.
Production Responsibilities
- Prepare confections following company recipes and procedures.
- Operate copper kettles and other kitchen equipment for fudge and caramel production.
- Dip and decorate chocolates and caramel apples.
- Package finished products for display and sale.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
Store Support
- Support front-of-house operations during busy stretches as needed.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and up to food safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- No prior kitchen experience is needed; the employer will provide training.
- Be reliable, consistent, detail-oriented, and patient with repetitive tasks.
- Be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Communicate clearly and work well in a small team.
- Be interested in a longer-term fit rather than a seasonal role.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay is listed as $15 per hour, while another pay statement lists pay from $16 per hour.
