Role overview

Customer service and selling

• Welcome customers, understand their needs, and use store systems and iPad tools to provide product and service information.
• Prepare for appointments by reviewing customer profiles and favorites and preparing fitting rooms.
• Recommend dresses and strive to identify the right gown within the first three try-ons.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, remind customers about visits, and build customer relationships.
• Explain alterations and personalization services and coordinate appointments with alterations specialists.
• Take and enter measurements for orders and help reduce returns and exchanges.
• Meet sales productivity and conversion goals; pursue add-on goals for headpieces, foundations, and shoes.
• Process transactions accurately, promote relevant services and add-ons, and follow special-order procedures.

Store operations and development

• Maintain clean, organized, promotional-ready store standards and report damaged equipment.
• Support promotions, signage, merchandising, visual changes, markdowns, and inventory counts.
• Support store sales, service, and operational goals and follow loss-prevention and security policies.
• Complete assigned training, develop product and fashion knowledge, and share expertise with teammates.

Education and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of apparel, service, or specialty retail experience is preferred.
• Prior computerized POS experience is preferred.

Physical demands

• The job requires standing, walking, interacting with customers, using electronic devices, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
