Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai and Ajman, United Arab Emirates for a Part-Time AI Voice Tester (Native Brazilian Portuguese Speaker – UAE Based).
The AI Voice Tester will record and read aloud prepared scripts in Brazilian Portuguese to evaluate and improve AI voice and speech recognition performance.
Day-to-day tasks include following detailed linguistic and recording guidelines, providing feedback on pronunciation, clarity, and naturalness, and flagging any errors or inconsistencies in AI output.
The role also involves conducting repeated test scenarios, annotating or labeling speech data when required, and documenting issues in a clear, structured format.
Collaboration with project coordinators, linguists, and technical teams is expected to ensure data quality, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese with clear, neutral pronunciation, and strong listening and speaking skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English to follow instructions and communicate with project teams.
- Comfort with using recording tools, headsets, and basic computer or mobile applications for voice testing tasks.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy in following scripts, and consistency in voice delivery across multiple sessions.
- Ability to work on-site in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, with reliable availability for scheduled testing sessions.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently while adhering to project deadlines and procedures.
- Previous experience in voice recording, voice-over, call centers, linguistics, or AI/speech projects is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Commitment to data privacy, confidentiality, and ethical handling of sensitive information.
