What You’ll Do

  • Provides appropriate emergency medical care and transportation within the EMT - Paramedic
  • scope of practice as established by Adena Health System standards and procedures. Responsible
  • for patient assessment, treatment, and transport to or from medical facilities or residences.
  • Maintains treatment protocols, safety standards, and effective communication in high-stress
  • environments. Ensures safe ambulance operation and professional representation of the EMS
  • Health Care System. Includes direct patient care and operates under the supervision of the EMS
  • Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Required Educational Degree: High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year healthcare experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to be insurable under our insurance.

Preferred Education

  • NRP
  • Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Ohio EMT - Paramedic Certification, BLS, ACLS,
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License
  • Preferred Certifications, Credentials and License s: NREMT Paramedic Certification, EVOC
  • Certification, NRP
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years of private or emergent (911) medical services experience
