Paralegal or Junior Lawyer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Assist with a busy caseload under supervision and support clients with the team's casework.
• Handle client registration and due diligence, carry out conflict searches, and open new matters on firm systems.
• Maintain matter lists and coordinate updates with lawyers and partners.
• Coordinate preparation of bundles, indices, and exhibits; undertake legal and commercial research.
• Assist with business development and support efficient collaboration across the team.
• Comply with quality procedures and information security requirements.

General duties

• Maintain high service standards for internal and external clients and build positive professional relationships.
• Work according to the firm's role-specific contribution areas and values.
• Maintain trust and confidentiality, complete required training, and operate safely and considerately.

Experience and qualifications

• Newly qualified lawyer or paralegal with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Experience drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a team.
• An interest in insurance law, liability claims, and dispute resolution.

Advantageous experience and languages

• Experience in insurance, litigation, disputes, or claims-related work is advantageous.
• Previous client contact is desirable.
• English and Arabic bilingual skills are advantageous.
