Panel Saw Operator
We are looking for a skilled Panel Saw Operator to join our manufacturing/joinery team.
The candidate will be responsible for operating panel saw machines to cut wood, MDF, plywood, laminates, and other materials according to production drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate panel saw machine safely and efficiently
- Read and understand cutting lists, technical drawings, and measurements
- Cut MDF, plywood, laminates, veneer boards, and other materials accurately
- Ensure proper material handling and minimize wastage
- Perform machine setup and basic maintenance
- Check finished materials for quality and accuracy
- Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Coordinate with joinery and production teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Panel Saw Operator in joinery/interior fit-out industry
- Knowledge of woodworking machines and cutting techniques
- Ability to read measurements and production drawings
- Good understanding of material optimization and quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety procedures
