Palantir Developer / Data & Application Engineer

Geo Owl is seeking a Palantir Developer / Data & Application Engineer to design, develop, and support data-driven applications, workflows, pipelines, and analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP .

The ideal candidate will combine software development and data engineering expertise with the ability to translate mission requirements into practical, user-focused solutions.

• Develop applications and operational workflows using Palantir Workshop, Slate, and AIP .
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Pipeline Builder, Python, PySpark, and SQL .
• Design and maintain Palantir Ontology objects, relationships, properties, and actions.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, files, and other enterprise sources.
• Develop dashboards and analytical products using Workshop, Contour, and Quiver .
• Perform data analysis, data quality checks, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, mission users, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide user training, technical documentation, and mentorship.
• Apply security, access-control, data governance, and software development standards.
• Evaluate and implement new Palantir capabilities, including AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflows .

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, analytics, or a related technical field.
• 1–2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience .
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL .
• Experience with Palantir Foundry, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Contour, or Quiver .
• Experience with data integration, data modeling, and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, Virginia .

• Experience with Palantir AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflows.
• Palantir Foundry certification or formal Palantir training.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD and enterprise security frameworks.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government, defense, or intelligence missions .
