About This Role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and conduct advanced inspections of surface preparation, painting, and coating applications.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, BGAS-CSWIP).
- Perform DFT (Dry Film Thickness), adhesion, holiday detection, and other coating tests.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and maintain records.
- Guide and mentor junior inspectors (Level 1 & 2) and coordinate with contractors.
- Ensure all painting activities adhere to HSE standards.
- Liaise with clients and project managers to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- **Education**
- : Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- **Certification**
- : Valid
BGAS-CSWIP Level 3 Painting Inspector
- or equivalent (NACE Level 3 preferred).
- **Experience**
- : Minimum 5–7 years in industrial painting/coating inspection, including oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- **Technical Knowledge**
- : Strong understanding of coating systems, corrosion protection, and international standards.
- **Skills**
- : Excellent report writing, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
